Our Cabins and Campsites are two of Mukwah’s best kept secrets. Nestled in the foot hills on the banks of the Panther River, our cabins and treed camp sites, make Mukwah the right place to kick back, relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of your busy work week. Our Camp facilities includes a sauna and hot showers and campfire pits.

CABINS

Guests looking for more shelter from the weather can book one of our newly renovated cabins. Ideally suited for 2 people, our 8’X12’ rustic cabins offer a step up from tents with lights and a solid floor. Every cabin has its own outside space which can fit up to 4 additional tents providing a great option for a family escape.

CAMPING

Mukwah has plenty of room to fit you, your friends and family! Enjoy the wilderness a bit longer with your own tent or RV!

Our camping-cabins are newly built with a good sized room and a raised platform for the mattress. It’s Camping! in a warm, wooden tent. Priced for double occupancy ($65.00 per night and you need to bring your own bedding. We do have a limited supply of bedding to rent at 20.00/night) and there is a $15.00 per charge for each additional person.

Firewood

We keep our firewood on hand and ready to go, all you need to do is purchase it directly from the campsite.

Pictures of Your Trip

Available with almost every package you are able to select a checkbox which will charge you a one time fee of $30.00, this means you will not be charged per person and will be given all the photos at the end of your trip.

BBQ

Neither of these two options will allow you to join in on one of our many white water rafting adventures, however it will let you attend the barbeque dinner/lunch at the end of the trip if you were interested in eating with your family or friends.

Map to Mukwah

On your way to Mukwah's base camp, watch for signs once you are past Sundre, (coming from the north) or, past Cochrane (coming from the south.) You should be in good shape if you follow signage to the Mountain-Aire Lodge, and look for Mukwah signage along the way. (Mukwah is 2.5 km southwest of the Lodge).

Approximate travel time from Edmonton to base camp = 3½ hours.

Approximate travel time from Calgary to base camp = 2 hours.
